BEAUVOIR, PAUL
Paul Beauvoir – Born in 1932. Beauvoir played an important role in the evolution of modern Haitian painting. Although still figurative, his work is above all studies of color where orange and blue often predominate. His impressionist style is characterized by definite demarcation lines with backgrounds of yellow color. He died in the early 1970’s.
